Right of withdrawal for consumers

Right of withdrawal for contracts for the delivery of goods

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a named third party, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods, insofar as you have ordered one or more goods within a single order and these are delivered singly; or the day on which you or a named third party, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last good in the case of goods delivered in several installments or in several partial shipments; or the day on which you or a named third party, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last part or the last piece in the case of a good delivered in several partial shipments or in several pieces; or the day on which you or a named third party, who is not the carrier, took possession of the first good in the case of an order for goods to be delivered regularly over a set period.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, telephone, fax, or email).

You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient for you to send the notice of exercising the withdrawal right before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same payment method for the reimbursement that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, you will not be charged any fees for such reimbursement.
If you have already received goods in connection with the contract, the following applies:

We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier;
You must send back the goods immediately and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from the contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired;
You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods. If the goods cannot normally be returned by post due to their nature, you shall be liable for the costs up to an estimated maximum of about €100.00;
You are liable only for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is the result of handling that is not necessary to establish the nature, properties and functioning of the goods.

If you have requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us an appropriate amount which corresponds to the portion of the services that has been provided up to the time you inform us of the exercise of the withdrawal right with regard to this contract.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal for contracts mentioned in § 312g BGB according to statutory provisions, unless the parties expressly agree otherwise.

Accordingly, there is generally no right of withdrawal for contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for which the consumer determines or substantially determines the content or that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the customer. There is generally no right of withdrawal for the delivery of audio or video recordings (e.g., CDs, videotapes, DVDs) or of computer software, provided the delivered data carriers have been unsealed by the consumer.

Disposal information for batteries and devices

Important information on the return of used batteries in accordance with § 18(1) Battery Act

Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. The trash can symbol marks batteries that contain hazardous substances and indicates that batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste. End users are legally obliged to return used batteries. We would like to point out that used batteries can be returned to us free of charge. You may therefore send used batteries to us for proper disposal:

Information on the disposal of devices

Electrical and electronic devices must not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers can hand in their old electrical equipment free of charge at a local municipal collection point.
